There's no place like home!!

We're here!! whataburger, bbqs, big skies, and pickup trucks!! I've missed Texas, but more than that I've missed my family!! my sisters are exactly the same as always. Demanding, judgmental, and funny. they are mine though...and I wouldn't change this family for anything!!

Texas Bound!

My sister should be sometime tomorrow, and then we'll head out Sunday, I think...I'm so excited, I can't wait!!  It's been five years since I've had Thanksgiving with my family and my sisters have never seen my son...I don't even know how my nieces and nephews have changed in the last few years, it's crazy to think that the last time I saw them they were kids, and now most of them have grown into young men and women...WOW! 

Great News!

So I usually am not all that nice when it comes to talking about my boss (who is, right?), but today she really surprised me...I've been desperate to make sure that I can have all week next week off work...and we had a miscommunication about what days I needed off, but she covered my shift for me next week, and assured me that it was her fault that I was scheduled to work in the first place...WOW!  

So today, I am thankful that I have a very understanding boss, who helps me out when I need it!
